Specialist in general surgery and surgical oncology. Academic teacher. Lecturer during conferences, courses and specialist training on surgical oncology and breast plastic surgery. He took part in a number of research internships both in Poland and abroad, e.g. in Germany (University Hospital in Heidelberg, Meinz, Frankfurt am Main, Berlin), Austria, the United States (Brown University in Providence) and Denmark.
He received two scholarships from the German Surgeons’ Association. He authored over 50 papers in Polish and foreign periodicals. He is also a collaborating author of ‘Breast reconstruction: current techniques’, published in 2012. For many years he has been actively promoting oncoplastic breast and skin surgery. He is one of the front-runners of immediate breast reconstructions in breast cancer patients.
