He completed specialisation training in urology in 2010, working for over 2 years as an assistant doctor at the Urology University Hospital in Braunschweig in Germany. In 2011 he was awarded the FEBU diploma (Fellow of the European Board of Urology).
His professional interests cover in particular oncological urology, urolithiasis (kidney stone disease) treatment and andrology. He performs both open and minimally invasive surgeries (endoscopic and laparoscopic).
In his leisure time he enjoys rock and guitar music as well as travelling. His sports passions include badminton, mountain skiing and windsurfing.
